Spring
What a lovely February morning! Sun shining and a sharp chill in the air. Spring is coming!
I have been writing my follow up book to Magnum Opus, set in the time of King John. Its fascinating the massive impact Magna Carta (1215) has had on the world and still has today. Democracy, not the most perfect system but the best we know, began and has influenced many governments around the globe. However, Magna Carta had a very shaky start! Both sides, the KIng and the Barons, broke its terms almost immediately and war broke out in the same year. It took many versions before rights were given to people but hundreds of years before democratic government of a sort was formed in Britain. But even today some would disagree with this.
My research continues to be fascinating. At the same time I am rewriting From Eden To Babylon having got it back from the publishers. I will rename and remarket this book. This is still one of my favourites. My publishing target date is before the end of this year.
