My blog thoughts….
Good Morning.
My first book The Michmash Miracles has been my most successful to date and its where my writing adventures started. These are historical fiction.
I am still excited about the story which I uncovered in Palestine some years ago. The revelation that a modern battle can be won by learning the strategy used by people from 3000 years ago, to me is truly mind blowing. The Old Testament revealed the strategy in Samuel 1 verse 14, of a successful battle by Jonathan of the Israelites against the Philistines.
A British Major followed the clues and overcame a superior force of Ottomans, who were on higher ground. This is the theme of the story.
The book starts with the life and adventures of Jonathan and his father Saul (who appeared to have serious mental issues) and culminated in the battle of Michmash.
The second part of the book takes place in 1918, when the British allied army fights with the Ottomans for control of the Suez Canal. The second battle of Michmash takes place after the capture of Jerusalem.
Have you read this book yet? If so I would love your thoughts and comments.
I carried out so much research that I had enough information to write my second book Armageddon Revelations, covering the second part of the Palestine campaign, but with new characters.
There are also fictional stories linked about Deborah of the Old Testament and Richard 1st in the Third Crusade, a flight of fancy! I thoroughly enjoyed writing these stories and I hope you do too. I am just as excited about this story as I was about the first. I decided to make this the second book in the series as it is a follow on from the first, still with Biblical and historical connections, all on the same land.
Again I would love your thoughts and comments
Thank you so much for your input. Enjoy your reading.
